Albuquerque-- When Karl Rove comes to Albuquerque to promote his new book on Saturday, May 1st, Albuquerque area activists, including CODEPINK will be ready with an outside protest demanding accountability and justice for the lies Rove told the American people during his time with the Bush Administration. The visual and vibrant protest will be held outside of Hastings Books where Karl Rove is scheduled to discuss his new book. CODEPINK members have staged citizen arrests of Karl Rove and other war criminals across the country, previous actions can be found here.
“We are demanding accountability from Karl Rove who lied to get us into the war and outed C.I.A. agent Valerie Plame,” CODEPINK Co-Founder Jodie Evans, has said. “If law enforcement and Congress won't do it, we the American people will!”
