Brenda -- reading this brought back memories from the IVAW-led march, truly the highlight among many great actions and conversations at the DNC. The courage, dedication, discipline and eloquence of our anti-war, anti-oppression veterans are inspiring to me and many others. As tired as I was that late afternoon/early evening, I could have stayed on the pavement backing them up for hours. I will never forget their young, determined faces as they marched away from the Pepsi Center at the end of the action. Behind the resolution I saw their anguish. May we all work hard to end this terrible, this vicious horror of a war.

Hi Brenda,

This is a great little piece! Thanks so much for posting it.

IVAW is indeed a great organization—and the action sounds amazing.

Please post details when you can—and let me know if you want help posting photos too!
