FREE IMRAN KHAN! Today, at a hearing on Pakistani elections we were kicked out before we even began protesting. The entire audience erupted in disagreement, chanting "LIES!" as Congress questioned Donald Lu, Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, and the committee ordered just three people removed. According to documents leaked to the Intercept, in 2022 Lu had a tense meeting with Pakistan's former ambassador to the US in which State Department officials threatened that Pakistan could face isolation from the US and its allies due to Khan's neutrality on the war in Ukraine. Lu told the Pakistani ambassador that "all would be forgiven" if Khan was removed from power. After his removal, the US assisted Pakistan in obtaining a large loan from the IMF and the country began producing ammunitions for the war in Ukraine. Khan was arrested in 2023 and though his conviction was suspended by Pakistani courts, he is still behind bars after subsequent charges were made against him over his handling of information regarding this meeting.

Rep. Andy Harris and his colleagues called one of our members a terrorist for asking about humanitarian aid delivery to Gaza. Israel is actively blocking aid from entering Gaza. According to the UN, "over a million people are expected to face catastrophic hunger unless significantly more food is allowed to enter Gaza." Meanwhile, the U.S. government reportedly sends Israel weapons every 36 hours. Israeli Occupation Forces could not carry out their massacres in Gaza without U.S. support. These members of Congress think any attempt to keep Palestinians alive is terrorism.

NO BIBI IN DC - SEND HIM TO THE ICC! Yesterday, Speaker Johnson announced he would invite Israeli PM Bibi Netanyahu to address a joint session of Congress. Today, we let him know the only place for Bibi is in The Hague! Bibi and his American supporters in Congress have the blood of over 32,000 Palestinians on their hands. We will not accept an open meeting between our elected officials and the commander in chief of a genocide to happen in the “people’s house.” Stay tuned for more updates on actions against Bibi’s visit.
