On Valentine's Day to raise awareness on the dangers of joining the military and exposing the lies recruiters are forced to sell to make their quotas CODEPINK was at the Marines Recruiting Station in Berkeley for a day of street theater, singing and leafleting for a day of "truth in recruiting" actions that are being held at military recruiting stations across the country to shut down these locations and end the funneling of our young people to an illegal occupation of Iraq. The Jon Stewart Daily Show filmed the action and did a bunch of interviews. We had a great time and shut down the station!
